As I purchased the hot rod.
This is the way the hot rod looked when I purchased it on October 31, 2011. It has a stock 307 Chevy engine, 350 transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear. I flew into Dallas, Texas to purchase the vehicle and drove it all the way home to Chattanooga, Tennesse the next day without incident. The hot rod ran great. I had a blast driving it.

The truck was purchased from a family in Phillipsburg, Kansas and trailered to Arlington, TX for the build process. The original owner was D. C. Jemmings. DC was a plumber and this was his first company truck. The Jennings family owned the truck until 2010 when it was purchased by the builder.
The builder is a retired GM engineer. I had no involvement in the initial build process. I purchased the hot rod when it was about 75% completed. I have been chipping away at finishing it out since I purchased it on Halloween day 2011. Here are a few build pix for you.
